François Touchette leads the Assurance team and is also a member of the firm's Executive Committee. With several years experience in accounting standards and auditing, as well as in their practical application, François divides his focus among companies in the manufacturing, distribution and services industries. His experience also includes consulting in the following: reorganizations, acquisitions, sales and corporate finance, as well as due diligence cases for business acquisitions.

François is actively involved in the development of his profession. Throughout his career, he has served on several standing committees of the Ordre des comptables agréés du Québec (OCAQ) and is currently a member of its professional inspection committee. Recently, François was invited to be a guest speaker at the OCAQ as part of a workshop on successful strategies for managing an accounting firm.

In addition to his involvement in his profession, François has been, since 2005, the auditor for the "Prix Excellence" contest by the Chambre de commerce et d'industrie de la Rive-Sud that recognizes companies that actively contribute to our economy's growth and development.
