Co-founder and Managing Partner until 2000, when he passed the torch on to the next generation, Jacques Demers's vision and leadership greatly contributed to the development of the firm. Under his leadership it has developed into a major player among Québec's independent accounting firms. Having begun his career at the Department of Regional Economic Expansion as an analyst and grants officer, Jacques has spent over 30 years advising his public and private sector clients on financial mandates.

In recent years, he has been responsible for financial planning and analysis on several manufacturing investment projects, the search for private and public capital and in negotiating grants.

A seasoned professional who has largely contributed to the development of the profession and of future generations, Jacques Demers was awarded, in 2007, the Prix Hermès by the Université Laval, honoring his career.
