Robert St-Aubin is Managing Partner of the firm. He directs the firm's professional and para-professional activities and is Chair of its Executive Committee. Robert was once the Partner responsible for the Professional Practice group within the Assurance practice and still sits on this group's executive committee. Recognized as a leader, Robert uses his dynamism and his constant desire to improve the quality and range of services the firm offers to its customers. Under his leadership, Demers Beaulne has known impressive growth through the addition of the Financial & Organizational Services (FOS) team, which has strengthened the firm's reputation.

Robert has over 25 years experience in Accounting and Auditing Standards, as well as their practical application. In addition to taking on the responsibilities of the firm's management, Robert still works with a diverse customer base in the manufacturing, real estate, pharmaceutical, agri-food and services industries. His sound management knowledge has led Robert to collaborate in the strategic planning process of some special mandates. He has also participated in several public offerings and has advised clients on the publication of their financial information. When working on business acquisition mandates, Robert has helped develop acquisition strategies and due diligence plans, as well as implemented them.

Over the years, Robert has conducted training seminars on the application of specific Accounting standards. Robert also contributes to the development of the profession through his active involvement in the Ordre des comptables agréés du Québec (OCAQ), where he serves on several committees and is Chairman of the BHD Association of Chartered Accountants, which brings together independent accounting firms from across Canada. His active involvement in the Mouvement Desjardins over the past 15 years is also note-worthy. He is currently Chairman of the Caisse de Repentigny and serves on Desjardins Venture Capital's Auditing Committee.
